The Art Of UNO

So, we are pretty free now, with exams over and results gotten back.. So a number of people in 4S3 including the S3[X] gang had been having games of UNO. If you don't know how to play UNO, it's a game where players place cards of same numbers or colours on the previous one. You win if you are the first to empty your hand of cards and you lose if you have more than 20 cards. Well, for those guys who think UNO is only a game of numbers and colours, you're so wrong. Especially in 4S3, if you lost in an UNO game, you will be dared to do something, probably something imbalanced. As an example, Ching Yeap lost a game and we dared him to pretend licking a snack can in front of Meiyen. And of course, he did it quite well. This "daring" rule made UNO in 4S3 a dark political game.

You see, there are these Draw Two or Draw Four cards in UNO that forces the next player to draw cards. And apparently the many female dogs of our class use these Draw cards as a weapon. We tend to save these Draw cards and then when it's time we play them out all at once to make a player get more than 20 cards instantly and lose the game, hence getting dared to do something. And you can never know if you are the next victim. You don't know who everyone is aiming. You don't know who has Draw cards. And if you don't have a Draw card to save yourself , you feel INSECURE. For example, you can lie and say let's aim for ChengZhi, but actually you really wanted to get Sivanesh. It's all about psychological warfare and tactics. No one besides yourself knows what you're thinking. This makes UNO in 4S3 kind of like POLITICS. Only difference is that it's damn fun. Until now, we have the highest record of 32 cards drawn at once by Hoong Kiat, which instantly classifies him as a loser.

Side note, to Wei Wen particularly. I know your Add Maths damn pro, but watch out, I am only 1 mark behind. Or 1.111 for 4 significant figures. Someday I will throw you behind. I hope. =)
Don't feel sad about losing your throne in 4S3. You're just 2 marks behind.
