28 . December . 2009

8am - Woke up and rushed all the way through to my church to attend a program called No Apologies about life, love & sex.

9am to 12pm - Yawn like an idiot for session 1 and 2 of the program. Regretted for chatting with the bitches until 3am.

1pm - Lunch time. Mum fetched me to Mid Valley for the idiots gathering. I stopped by MPH bookstore and stumbled upon GUINNESS WORLD RECORD 2010 book. Out of interest, I stood and read the book. Unexpectedly, Sian Wei walked pass me without noticing my existence. Im heartbroken. Then, we went to watch

We were going to watch in IMAX 3D, but due to my procrastination of not giving Yi Xian my exact decision to watch the movie, he was not able to book online, so basically, we didn't get to watch in 3D because it was sold out, too bad, haha. But I tell you hor, its not all my fault ok, Im just unable to get the correct schedule for my program, so Im struggling with my timetable for today, hehe. BUT, we managed to watch it by any means, and god bless, we sat at the 2nd front row because I didn't brought my spectacles.

The movie was simply striking. The plot is rich and the animations are insanely mesmerizing, it is so beautiful, so realistic, too bad it isn't in 3D. The battles between humans and na'vis are solely breathtaking, so intense that the guy behind me shook his legs throughout the whole conflicts. It also shown how selfish are the humans in the movie, destroying the natures and the homes of na'vis just for their own profits. A very good lesson indeed. Needless to say, this movie must not be missed. TOO BAD WE DIDN'T WATCH IN 3D, HAHA.

5pm - Went to the food court nearby with the bitches. Had lunch/dinner. Sian Wei drifted away and went back home early. Anti-social bitch.

6pm - Went back to church and worshiped with friends. Hehe. Im such a busy man, sacrificing myself to get the best of both worlds. Eventhough I missed the last 2 session of the program.

7pm to 10pm - We sang songs and had fun and then went back after 10pm. Good night.

P/s : Daena has turned skinny due to being a vegetarian for one month, climbing mountains and eating trees. This is a recent photo of him. Please show your compassion by posting some comments at the chat box, thanks. Ignore the noob legs behind him.

Going insane.

Re-post of Hong Kong Trip Photos

There were some really good photos taken at HongKong and I thought I lost them a little while back. But now I managed to retrieve them. My mum took 200+ photos so I'll just pick out three of the best.

So, this is the missing photo from the original trip update. Isn't this photo just GREAT? You see, out of the 6 people riding the Space Mountain, only me and my dad were opening our eyes! Others? Hehe! Once again, in the front row, the one in black shirt is my brother. The one beside is my second cousin. Middle row, man in yellow is my dad, the one beside is my mum. Back row, closing his eyes is my first cousin, and I'm blocked by my dad's head. Sad case. And please forgive me for the quality of this photo, my mum ain't a good cameraman. Or camerawoman, whatever.

The photo featuring the five kids! If you consider I'm a kid, that is. I'll introduce from left to right. First one in white shirt, Chun Chia, 2nd cousin, aged 13. Second one, with a jacket on his left shoulder, Chun Kit, 15 years old. He scored 2As in PMR. The tiny one in the middle, Chun Yan. Believe it or not but he's 10 years old. The one is red is, of course, most noticeable, Salty. The one on the most right is my brother, 14 years old. I don't know why the heck am I reporting their ages. q=_=p

And this one. I find it to be the best photo in the whole camera. Firstly, the guy in the picture rocks. And it was taken with such timing. This place is some sort of on a mountain peak and the wind is really strong. And I was putting on my jacket when the wind suddenly blew so strong. And my mum managed to take a shot. You should really look at the actual photo, it's much nicer than this one on the blog.

Okay that's it. Have a blessed and merry Christmas, people!

The Hong Kong Trip

HELLO EVERYONE! How's life, hmm? Bad without Salty, right? Heehee. If you didn't know, Salty just went to Hong Kong on vacation for 6 days! And of course he's gonna update it in this fantastic blog. You see, I went on this trip with my family excluding my sister and with my little cousin's family (allsnow, if you know who), which means I am the only S3X gang soloing this trip. And hence, less imbalanced stuff happens, but I'll still throw in whatever I think is worth mentioning into this update.

So, where do I start? Well there's really nothing to write about the flight from KLIA to Hong Kong, except for the god damn pretty air hostess. =) I reached Hong Kong at around 4pm, 12th of December 2009. We just went to check in at our hotel, Royal Plaza Hotel or in Cantonese 帝京酒店. We had dinner and that's it for the first day.

The second day, we went to Disneyland. Honestly, Disneyland is more suitable for kids aged 8-12 years old, or maybe suitable for ChengZhi as well. Many of the attractions just can't attract me, or my brother and cousins. Well many but one, the Space Mountain. It's a roller coaster ride where you were supposed to be travelling through space. Compared to the Flying Coaster at Genting, this Space Mountain is less thrilling, but offers greater visual experience and enjoyment. During the ride it will be dark all around you with glowing little stars to make you feel as if you were in space. And towards the end of the ride there will be something like a supernova where explosions of light occur in front of you. But actually, one of the lights is actually a CAMERA intended to take a photo of you on the coaster. For me the ride wasn't as good as the one at Genting's, but the photo they took entertained me a heck lot more than the actual ride. For some effing reason I lost the photo. Shoot. But if you ever get the chance to look at it you'll find that ONLY ME AND MY DAD OPENED OUR EYES. My brother, mum and cousins all were closing their eyes. Only me and my dad had real guts. And I had zoomed in this photo really close and saw very clearly my eyes were OPENED. So, no doubts, yeah. The rest of Disneyland is nothing much. I went on the spinning cup with my 1st cousin and brother, and spinned as hard as I could. But the spinning cup experience with ChengZhi is much better, with faster spinning speed and greater enjoyment watching ChengZhi close his eyes in fear.

On the next day, we went on a free city tour. I went on a boat ride at Aberdeen, where you can see some of the Hong Kong residents that live on boats everyday. They are called 水上人家. And I also saw one of the fishing boats hanging hundreds of salted fish to dry. q=_=p Then I went to a temple by the beach where there's this Marriage Rock. People believe by touching this rock you will be blessed in your love life and marriage. I'll get any help I can, so I touched and molested the Marriage Rock over 10 seconds. Will this help me to win her heart? Hmm?

After the tour, we took a 1 hour ferry ride to Macau, and settled down at the prestigious Venetian Hotel. After that we took a bus to the gateway to 珠海 of China. I dunno the exact English name for that place but if directly translated it's called Pearl Sea. We just went there to go to Seafood Street, or 海鲜街. In Seafood Street, there are fishmongers and hawkers selling fresh and alive seafood along the street, such as oysters, calms, fish and prawns. Then, after buying whatever seafood you want, which is still alive and moving, you get them to one of the many restaurants on the street and they will cook the seafood according to your preferences. Well, since those prawns and fishes are very fresh and alive just half an hour ago, the dishes were really good, with freshness you can rarely taste anywhere else. But too bad I don't really enjoy seafood, so it wasn't a really nice meal for me. But the others did finish a whole plate of, like, more than 20 prawns. Not the really big ones, of course.

We went to the landmark of Macau, the Ruins of St. Paul's, or in Cantonese 大三巴牌坊 on the next day. There's nothing much here, just a long walk up to the ruins of an ancient building, now only with one wall left. Along the streets herer there are shops selling famous biscuits and treats of Macau, including almond biscuits and dried meat, and the best of all the Portugese tart. These Portugese tarts are really very delicious, with very crispy crust surrounding the sweet and soft egg center. We bought LOTS of treats, and on the way back, I saw Kuen Yee. Well, actually not her, but someone that looks shockingly alike with her. I would say it's a 98% clone, with the same hairstyle, face structure and thick spectacles. I can only tell the difference from the height, and the guy beside her is not Yi Xian. And also, I don't know how to explain, but I think she is prettier but Kuen Yee is cuter. I wished I took a photo of her so I can show how close they resemble each other, but too bad I didn't.

At night of the same day, I managed to get Internet connection for my room back at Venetian Hotel, and used my dad's laptop to go online. Before this I used his laptop to play Spider Solitaire... q=.=p And when I signed in to Messenger, disappointingly only ChengZhi is online. Daena's at India, Ching Yeap's walking to Malacca and Wei Wen isn't online. But this doesn't stop me from entertaining myself by talking to ChengZhi. He was telling me how great the game Dragon Age is, and I was less interested, so I just opened our blog and showed the picture of him munching his sandwich to all my cousins and family. And of course, they had a VERY VERY good laugh. We then had a small chat with XueYing <3. When I was handing the laptop to my brother, ChengZhi suddenly fluctuated, scolding my cousin through MSN for laughing at him and warning them to be careful. Chill lah ChengZhi, you are just doing a good deed give us some entertainment. =)

The next day, the second last day of my trip, was nothing much. We took the ferry back to Hong Kong, went around shopping and returned to Royal Plaza Hotel to relax.

On 17th of December, Thursday, we went to Hong Kong airport and took the 3.20pm flight back to Malaysia. Today was really an unlucky day, and it all started from the flight. I don't know how but a seat three rows behind me was screwed up, and the captain said all seats on this flight is full so the broken seat must be repaired. And therefore ALL passengers of the flight suffered an hour delay, all thanks to one stupid broken seat. And I actually saw EMPTY SEATS at the left of me. We took off at 4.20pm, and reached KLIA at 8pm, 1 hour later than scheduled. And then, when requesting for taxi service, we lined up really long, and everyone is exhausted. And it wasn't actually a taxi, instead a very old and worn up van, with crappy air-conditioners and even more crappy speed. We went to my cousins' place at Bukit Jalil first, and then my uncle fetched my family back to my house at Mines Resort City. It was past 10pm when I finally reached home, and the worst thing happened. When my uncle was driving out from my house in reverse gear, he didn't noticed the gigantic waste container opposite my house, and BANG! The rear of his Mercedes crashed into the container. His left rear light was screwed. But all of us were too tired to make a fuss and he just drove his car back. And this marks the end of my Hong Kong trip.

I must say, Hong Kong really offers a lot of delicacies and great food. They have the best roasted goose (烧鹅)you can find, as well as very good DimSums (点心) and steamboats. Too bad no peanut butter sauce served at steamboat restaurants. =P But you think I'll grow fat from all the eating? You are wrong. You see, Hong Kong is a country where people live a very fast-paced life, and their daily cost is high. So, what's the best transportation method that saves your money? Your own feet, that is. And that was what I used for most of my trip. I believe I covered more than 50km of road distance on feet this trip. I believe that's quite high energy expenditure. qO.Op

Besides that, there's one thing I really must mention here. There are A GOT DAMN LOT OF PRETTY GIRLS AT HONG KONG!! I'm not joking. There's really a lot of them. Every street you walk you'll find dozens of pretty girls and ladies, and this had really made my trip better. The best example is when you're taking the train, a major transportation of Hong Kong residents. If you are lucky, you'll have a lenglui in the same carriage as yours, your trip will be much much better. At least when you are squeezing in with all the other passengers, you have something beautiful in your range of sight to admire on. But of course, you must fight the sad feeling of being able to see but not being able to reach and hold. Heehee. I was somehow lucky too, because in the two flights of this trip, the air hostesses were very beautiful, especially the one serving on the flight to Hong Kong, a really mesmerizing lady. But of course, none can surpass her beauty. Heehee.

I think that covers all of this trip. School's reopening, can't wait to see those faces I'm missing so much! <3

Oh, thanks to Xue Ying and ChengZhi for the carriage thing. You both RoxXx.

Shao Wei's Sweet Sixteen

Today was Shao Wei's birthday celebration. We had it at the Spaghetti Grill restaurant, an Italian restaurant at Mid Valley, and quite a lot of people were invited, including me myself, ChengZhi, Ching Yeap, Wei Wen, Sivanesh, Chun Yeen, Yi Xian, Manie, Wei Ling, Amy, Mei Yen, Yap Wei, Fareen, Azah, Dalila, Sin Ee, Yee Sim and a few others. Oh, Shao Wei's cute little brother was there too! Sadly, Daenavan could not come. He went to India for some religious ceremony. Daena, sorry for abandoning you, I miss you!

We all gathered at around 11.30am and chatted for a while. Then, we started getting into our seats and ordering our food and drinks. I chose the Angio E Olio, a classic Italian spaghetthi with a blend of olive oil and garlic. The spaghetti was good but I was seated at the right of Amy, and she's a scary gay person (according to Wei Wen). But still I managed to finish my food without choking. Heehee. And apparently ChengZhi was the only one who ordered a chicken sandwich, and he was proud of it. But I guess you expect nothing more from a guy like him. Oh yes, we also gave Shao Wei our present, which turns out to be a perfume. She used it on the spot but my nose was blocked and could not smell.

Imbalanced stuff started to happen after we finished our meal. First of all, Shao Wei and girls were trying to act LaLa when taking photos, and Sivanesh joined in, claiming himself as a posing pro. Then he started doing those astounding poses. Let's just say I sat behind Sivanesh the whole time so that I can avoid seeing his poses from the front and puking. And once when Sivanesh was posing, Wei Wen unleashed his swift skills and unbuttoned 3 to 4 of Sivanesh's shirt buttons, but Sivanesh was quick enough to hide beneath the table and button up to avoid revealing what's on his chest. Then when I was sitting on a table, Chun Yeen closed in and wanted to hug me, and ended up he pushed me down and nearly toppled the table. A few of us also took an empty glass filled with ice and added mushroom soup, tissue, chilli sauce, salt, paprika and tabasco sauce into it. Well, of course, nobody had the honour to taste that mixture. Or solution. Whatever. And the best thing is, Ching Yeap managed to stuff a dining knife into ChengZhi's sleeve. Don't ask me which part of his arm the knife made contact with. ChengZhi fluctuated and pulled the knife out, but after that, the most imbalanced thing, HE TOOK THE KNIFE CLOSE TO HIS NOSE AND SNIFFED IT. And if you ever had the chance to look at his face you can see he's definitely enjoying it.

After a short while, Shao Wei's parents came with the birthday cake. And god damn, her father is damn tall. q=_=p We sang the birthday song very loudly. Shao Wei made a wish and blew the candles for the first time, with only 1 candle being blown out. Then she tried to put out the others by flapping her hands. Then she realized it doesn't work and gave a second blow, finally putting out all the candles. LoL. Then of course, we all had a slice of cake. Shao Wei's father took photos for us too.

After the cake, Fareen, Chun Yeen and Wei Wen had to leave. The others stayed back to watch the movie, Christmas Carol. I had the pleasure to belanja popcorns and drinks. And of course, I sat with ChengZhi, which I totally regret. You see, the movie is about the main character time-travelling from place to place, and for ChengZhi it's too abstract to understand and catch up. It's okay for him to feel that way (considering his intelligence level), but everybody on earth knows how to respect a movie by NOT COMMENTING ON THE MOVIE LOUDLY WHEN THE MOVIE HAS NOT ENDED. Well, too bad, ChengZhi doesn't know. He commented loudly all those negative stuff, blended in with some minor vulgars. At one point the guy in front of him turned back and looked at him. And I must say half of the movie fun was ruined by him.

About the movie, hmm... Well, it's not that bad. It's a little boring but it's meaningful and there are plenty lessons to learn. Although a few people felt boring and sleepy. Just watch it and comment on it yourself.

After the movie my mum was reaching Mid Valley soon, so I only had time to go to The Coffee Bean and grab an ice blended hazelnut and then went home. Well, everything pretty much ends here. I went home to bath, went out for a simple dinner with family, went home and played MapleStory due to Double Experience Event, leveled up to level 71, and started updating blog.

Well, that's the end of it I guess.

No. Oh wait. There's one more.

Okay folks, please brace yourselves.

I hope our dear blog readers did not puke after viewing the horror picture above. And for your information, it's ChengZhi munching his sandwich.

ChengZhi, don't blame me. This is specially for you, the one who ruined part of my movie experience, and dashed off after the movie to buy the guitar tuner, abandoning us.

Okay, that's it. Happy birthday Shao Wei! <3

8 . December . 09

The day before Mei Yen's birthday. Something happened.

I faced many HARDSHIPS to bring my very own guitar to accompany Ching Yeap for his solo performance to his dream girl. Then, he FFK me.

So, we met up with the girls at KANNA restaurant.

Then, we went and gathered around the waiting bench outside the school. Waiting for princess to be arrived not too soon later.

Yi Xian and Chun Yeen arrived. They brought along what it seemed to be a wrapping paper for presents. Then, they ABANDONED the paper. So, I picked it up out of my kindness. Then, I went around and prank with peoples. The first victim was Wei Wen. He snatched the paper and hit me back. Prank failed. Then, I go kacao Daena. He very joke, no response from him. I bored. So, I agitated Amy out of boredom. She roared me back. Scary.

Then, the princess arrived. The peoples flashed their alphabet cards consisted of HAPPY BIRTHDAY letter. The plan supposed that I will be the guitarist for the Happy Birthday song but SADLY, the peoples stride forward and left me behind. So, I KELEFEHED. Then, I emo for 5 minutes.

We went to Mid Valley after this. Had lunch at Italian Restaurant. Ordered a plate of meatball spaghetti for 3 servings. The meatballs were GIGANTIC. Very juicy. We laughed at Wei Wen's iced lemon tea for its same pricing and smaller quantity compared to the rest of us. We deeply regretted. All Amy's fault, he realized that his lemon tea can be REFILLED. Very ZA DOU. So basically, that had made his lemon tea far more rewarding than ours.

Then, we went for bowling. Nothing much happened. Me and Wei Wen were cheering for everyone. After that, we went for a stroll around Mid Valley. Suddenly, Chun Yeen pulled me along. It was confusing, but then I saw everyone were rushing hastily, leaving two people behind. While I was writing this part, I TEMPORARY lost my memory concerning about the two people that were left behind.

So, Daena, Amy and I went back to school by taxi. Nothing much happened, we went back after this.

And before I signing off, I would like to spread this quote from the class of S3 (2009/2010).
"Because we are full of <3333333333333333333" & stars I suppose.

Merely An Update

It's been some time since the last update, yeah? Salty is here to save the blog. =)

6th of December 2009, Friday, was the opening ceremony for Chan's Academy of Music and Arts. And of course, I had the honour to play in a quartet in the ceremony, performing over 15 Christmas songs. =) Mr Chan also hired a clown, hung balloons and ordered catering service. And I somehow discovered that I had some talents for piano. I learned how to play piano scales with my right hand in just a few minutes. Heeheehee.

Oh ya, by the way, for some unknown reason, I am back to MapleStory! It brings back alot of memories... 16 hours of non-stop training, waking up 6 in the morning just to get a spot to train, getting mad over lost of some items... Well, no more of that happens now. I still play AIs with Chuny and gang. xD

Okay that's it for the update. Early happy birthday wishes to Mei Yen and Shao Wei!
